The central motif on the parchment hued reserve begins at the bottom with a majestically embellished cornflower blue vase producing an ascending tree with branches and broad palmettes, harboring three pairs of beautifully articulated birds, notably the crested two at the top. Hosting a series of robust pomegranates, leaves and grapes, the curving branches distract the viewer from a pair of benign-looking, diminutive dragons alongside the vase seemingly competing for low-hanging fruit with another larger pair of memorable, plump geese standing on a field of grass.
