Carpet Museum of Iran is one of the museums of Tehran the aim of which is to research and exhibit carpet art and industry of Iran. The facade of this museum is designed and constructed as a carpet loom. With an area of 3400 m², the building of Carpet Museum of Iran includes two halls for exhibiting Iranian handmade carpet and kilim. The ground floor of this museum is considered for permanent exhibition of 150 carpets and the second floor is considered for case and seasonal exhibitions.
