About Reza Abbasi Museum

Reza Abbasi Museum is on Shari'ati Street, Tehran and it is named after the famous painter of Safavid Era, Reza Abbasi. This museum includes art works from prehistoric periods until 13th century A.H. that are exhibited in separate halls. The halls of this museum include Pre-Islamic Hall, Painting Hall and Calligraphy Hall. The works exhibited at this museum are shown to their historic order; therefore, visitors can follow the evolution of civilization, culture and art in Iran. The library of Reza Abbasi Museum includes over 10 thousand volumes of books.
