About Moghan Cave

Moghan Cave is located 35 kilometers from Mashhad, in the south of Moghan Village. According to existing evidence and discovered spiral fossils on the paths leading to the cave, the antiquity of this cave has been estimated to be about a hundred million years. It has assorted vestibules and bending ways and in case of not knowing the environment, there is a high likelihood of being lost. In addition, due to the dangerous precipices in this cave, visiting it without a guide and required tools would be dangerous. There are various wells inside this cave the depth of one of which is 25 meters and bats live inside some of them. Furthermore, there is a spring inside this cave that is very cold in addition to being clear and gourmet. There is a pond inside this cave too. Moghan Cave has two openings and stalactites and stalagmites are hung from its ceiling that have created a very interesting scenery.
