About Imamzadeh Ali ibn Hamzeh

Imamzadeh Ali ibn Hamzeh is located on Hafez Avenue in Shiraz near the Khoshk River. Ali ibn Hamzeh is one of the grandchildren of Imam Musa al-Kadhim (PBUH). The building of this Imamzadeh was constructed at Deylamite Period by Amir Azododdowleh and some parts of it were repaired in Teymoorid Period. Despite being old and worn out, the entrance door of this Imamzadeh is a sample of talent and art of Shiraz people in terms of carvings. In addition, after passing the atrium when entering the courtyard, a red stone is installed on top of the port on which there is an elegant inscription written by Ibrahim Soltan, the son of Shahrokh Teymoori.
