About Tomb of Sheikh Attar Neishabouri

Farideddin Attar Neishabouri, known as Sheikh Attar Neishabouri (540-618 A.H.) is the prominent Iranian poet and mystic the main works of whom are Tazkirat ul-Awliya' and Mantiq ut-Tair. Tomb of Sheikh Attar Neishabouri is located in Nishapur on Erfan Street. Its building has been constructed in Timurid Era and it is an octagon with a tiled dome, four tiled chambers and four entrances. Sheikh Attar Neishabouri's grave is located in the middle of this tomb.
