About Tomb of Pir-e Palandouz

Tomb of Pir-e Palandouz belongs to Safavid and contemporary eras and it is located in Navvab Safavi Street, in the east side of Holy Shrine of Imam Reza (AS). This tomb belongs to Mohammad Aref Abbasi, known as Pir-e Palandouz, one of the great mystics of tenth century A.H. Tomb of Pir-e Palandouz is four-sided with an onion dome and beautiful brick porch. Inside the tomb, there are remnants of paintings from Safavid era on the ceilings. In addition, this structure is adorned with simple turquoise tiles. Tomb of Pir-e Palandouz has been registered as a national monument of Iran.
