About Tomb of Alaeddin Shahshahan

Alaeddin Shahshahan, also known as Alaeddin Mohammad, was a mystic in the ninth century A.H. who was assassinated to the order of Shahrokh Teymuri in 850 A.H. Tomb of Alaeddin Shahshahan is located in Shahshahan district, Isfahan. There are beautiful plaster-molding inscriptions inside the tomb as well as decorative tiles on the entrance. The dome of the tomb has been rebuilt and the incredible thuluth inscriptions inside the tomb belong to the prominent Isfahani calligraphers of ninth century A.H.
