About Qajar Museum

Qajar Museum is one of the museums of Tabriz located in the house of Amir Nezam Garoosi in Sheshgolan neighborhood. The house of Amir Nezam Garoosi, which is built in Naseruddin Shah Period, has been exploited as Qajar Museum by keeping its architectural features and traditional qualities. Building of the museum includes an inside and an outside courtyard where gardens and pools add to its beauty. The upstairs lattice windows with colored glass as well as mirror works and plaster works of the inner halls add to the beauty of this complex. In the basement, there is a large spring house which is one of the beautiful sections of this building. Qajar Museum is a two-story building with several halls. The basement halls include stone, weapons, men and commands, architecture and urbanism, lock and lantern halls. First-floor halls include coin, texture, chinaware, crystal, and metal, music, and mosaic halls. Qajar Museum has been registered as a national monument of Iran.
