Tomb of Ali Abu Abdullah Ibn Bakooyeh Shirazi, known as Baba Kohi is located on the north of Shiraz. Baba Kohi, who is an Iranian poet, was born in Shiraz in 337 A.H. As a youth, he studied and visited most famous elders of that time. After years of travelling, he returned to Shiraz and lived in isolation in the cave of Sabooy Mount and prayed and he passed away in 442 A.H. when he was 105 years old. His followers buried him in his monastery which is his tomb today.
