With an area of 130 hectares, Shohada-ye Khalij-e Fars Lake (Persian Gulf Martyrs Lake), known as Chitgar Lake, is an artificial lake located on the northwest of Tehran. Next to this lake, a 120 hectare recreation center is constructed the facilities of which include recreational islands, wild life islands, educational islands, recreational harbor, boating harbor, water park, water sports club, accommodation facilities and amenities.
