About Rashid Ghal'eh Beigi Mosque

Rashid Ghal'eh Beigi Mosque belongs to early Qajar Era and it is located in Bazaar of Sanandaj. This mosque is among the oldest mosques in Kurdistan. Rashid Ghal'eh Beigi Mosque has been constructed to the style of mosques in Kurdistan area and it has all features of these mosques including shabistan with wooden pillars, a porch on the yard side, and another porch toward the south. Rashid Ghal'eh Beigi Mosque has a two-story shabistan, a square courtyard and a fountain. Brick arcades on the interior and exterior facade are some decorations of Rashid Ghal'eh Beigi Mosque.
