About Nature and Wildlife Museum of Iran

Nature and Wildlife Museum of Iran is located in Darabad Neighborhood, Tehran. It has two floors with various sections. In mammals, birds and aquatics sections, Nature and Wildlife Museum of Iran includes the following parts:

  • The hall of European, Asian and North American samples
  • Two halls of Iranian samples
  • The hall African samples
  • The hall of aquatics and reptiles
  • Cages of big live feliformia including Persian leopard, lion, African panther as well as cages of birds and small mammals.

Of other sections and facilities of this museum are sections of geology, butterfly hall, taxidermy workshop, library, amphitheater, open cinema and Veterinary Clinic. Nature and Wildlife Museum of Iran is a member of the International Council of Museums.
