About Natural History Museum of Hamadan

Natural History Museum of Hamadan is located in Faculty of Agriculture in Bu-Ali Sina University, at the end of Chahar Bagh Azadegan. A rare collection of various animals, plants and natural species in the climate of Iran and all around the world is made in this museum. In this complex, thousands of live, fossil and taxidermy samples of plant species, mammals, birds, reptiles, insects and aquatic animals are kept using modern and scientific methods. Natural History Museum of Hamadan is constructed in 1972 with attempts of Professor Ja'far Muhammad Alizadeh and all samples are collected with his attempts and interested students.
