About Malek House

Malek House belongs to late Qajar Era and it is located in Imam Khomeini Street, Mashhad. In the past, this building has been much wider; however, the only section remained now is its external section including two floors. The upper floor of Malek House has a lattice and wood-carved ceiling and a plaster fireplace. The bathroom of Malek House has been the only sample of a private bathhouse of its era in Mashhad. Today, this house is the Center for Creation and Research on Traditional Arts. Malek House has been registered as a national monument of Iran.
