Ghorban Tower is one of the historical monuments of 7th or 7th centuries AD that is the tomb of Sheikh ul-Islam Hassan Ibn Attar Hafiz Abul Alla' Hamadani and several Seljuk commanders. About naming of this building known as Ghorban Tower, it is said that during the Afghan insurgency at the end of Safavid Period, a man called Ghorban used this place as his trench and defended the residents while repelling the rebels. Therefore, this place is named after him. Ghorban Tower has been registered as a national monument of Iran.
